BRUCE BAYS is the guest speaker.

Bruce had given a talk in May, 1984, and the talk was called,
‘Will the Real Rotarian Please Stand Up?”

If we follow the 4 Way Test in daily life we won’t go wrong . A good Rotarian is also a good family person.

We should be thankful for our own blessings and turn that energy into giving back to our own community.

A Rotarian of good will understands there should be peace in the world.

Integrity is key. Bruce gave an example of a farmer who had set fire to his own house, was not discovered, and was paid the full claim of $ 3,000. He later became a very successful farmer. He was ridden with guilt and, many years later, confessed to the insurance company who paid his claim. Bruce did not say what the conclusion of that story was but what was most impressive to Bruce is that he came forward when he did not have to.

A Rotarian should be good to his fellow man and be thoughtful, compassionate and sound leaders.

Bruce received a standing ovation after his talk.
