Presentation: President Wendy gave her vision for the year. She started by praising our membership for our strong history and our ongoing projects, locally and internationally. We need to continue to be active and each contribute where we can. Our international theme this year is “Create Hope in the World’ so let us stay mindful of that in all that we do. Our local involvements: RAP, the Friendship Inn, our new venue in Victoria Park, where we could hold a meeting, our link to Poly Tech and Hope Restored give us many opportunities to serve. Goals for the year: - engage our membership, find out more about each other.
After the President’s talk we shared thoughts about social events - Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner was popular.
- Wine-Tasting event was suggested.
- We could attend an event put on by another business group.
