With the meeting set over to summertime fellowship, we had 17 in attendance. A warm welcome back was extended to Kevin W.

Announcements

Following a thoughtful Grace by Steve who also acted as Sergeant , and with no visitors and guests to report, Sergeant Steve raised happy dollars from the following:

  • Mark's trip to Paris
  • Taste of Saskatchewan volunteers
  • Jack's family time at Christopher lake
  • Dave for his sad Rider joke
  • Joanne for a great time at Taste of Saskatchewan
  • Vic for helping his Dad in Victoria
  • Wayne for signing the anthem at the Musical Ride
  • Bev sad for the Rider game and a flooded house!
  • Graham for the family trip to the Okanagan to visit his Dad, golf and a vacation property.
Golf Tournament
Dave S. announced the All Club golf tournament for August 19th at Moon Lake at a cost of $110 per member. Registration is required by August 13.

Summer Meetings
A reminder that there will be no meetings on August 3rd and 10th. Future meetings are at the Bessborough Hotel.

Board Meeting
A barbecue is being considered. More details to follow.

Ribfest
Dave S. reported that the Ribfest is this weekend and volunteers are still needed. Admission is free and there will be great entertainment and food. Tim reported that test drives of new VWAG vehicles will be offered on site as a special fundraiser for RAPP.

Dues
All dues are now paid up and we are 53 members strong!!

Rotateller
Graham is looking for continued backup to write the weekly newsletter. A simple Word document highlighting the meeting will work fine for those not wanting to use Club Runner. The task is important and a good way for new members to get their "feet wet" in supporting the club. Lots of help is available and the time commitment is limited. Please let Graham, Gord, Al or Adriana know if you can help.
