Ripple Effect Project
In May 2024, at the Rotary District 5550 Conference, the President-elect of our Rotary Club of Saskatoon received a certificate of appreciation from the Canadian Ripple Effect Committee and the Rotary District 5550.
This recognition celebrates our club's involvement in the Ripple Effect Program, which is dedicated to creating sustainable schools and enriching the learning environment for children in Guatemala.
Since its inception, the program has built over 85 schools, impacting more than 25,000 children by providing essential infrastructure such as sanitary bathrooms, playgrounds, kitchens, and water filtration systems. Our club has proudly contributed to constructing schools in Tameja, Los Caneles, Chuchuda, and Los Limones. Literacy Award
Additionally, our club was awarded a District Literacy Award certificate for our significant efforts in promoting literacy both locally and internationally during the 2023-24 period.
