On August 17, the Rotary Club of Saskatoon proudly celebrated the grand opening of the Space on H, a landmark project marking our club’s centennial. This new community hub is managed by the Saskatoon Riversdale Community Collective, a dedicated volunteer group committed to fostering connection and opportunity in the neighborhood.

During the opening ceremony, the collective highlighted the many ways the facility will benefit the Riversdale community, from hosting local events to providing vital space for programs that support residents of all ages.

To share in the celebration, the Rotary Club of Saskatoon sponsored a free hamburger barbeque, serving nearly 300 attendees who joined the festivities. This project reflects our club's enduring commitment to making a tangible difference in Saskatoon, one community at a time.

Below is the wonderful thank you note provided by the Collective to our club:

"Oct. 20, 2024

Dear marvelous and generous volunteers of Rotary Club of Saskatoon,

On behalf of the board of the Saskatoon Riversdale Community Collective, the volunteers who manage the Space on H, I’m writing to share how profoundly grateful we are for your support.

The kitchen you made possible is used almost daily to feed families and for educational cooking classes.

The projector and screen has been used for trainings and meetings.

The BBQ event you hosted brought people together in a positive, constructive way and gave us a chance to educate the community about the Space on H.

You have made a significant and long-lasting positive impact on our core neighbourhoods!

Thanks again"

Join us in supporting and shaping the future of 'Space on H.'
