Working in-person with one of our local projects

This Christmas day,  6 members of Our Club, along with several members from Saskatoon’s other Rotary Clubs, helped to prepare and serve Christmas dinner at the Friendship Inn. 

Milestone Completed for Locally-Started Project
11 Years, an $80,000 grant, and we're just getting started!

In October 2022, our Rotary Club of Saskatoon finally completed the projects supported by an $80,000 Rotary Global Grant focussed on providing safe drinking water and basic education to improve the lives of these orphans and vulnerable children in Uganda!

Part of the Joy's Home of Hope project started by Club's our own Maureen Torr in 2011, more details on this project's beginnings and future can be found below.

Building Foodboxes and a $15,000 Donation

On December 9th, members from the 5 Rotary Clubs in Saskatoon met at Saskatoon Food Bank to present a cheque for $15,000.  On Tuesday, December 6th members of the clubs also went and volunteered by building food boxes at the Food Bank warehouse.

After 2 years of covid-related delays, our Club was finally able to present vests to the 5 new Theray Dogs sponsored by the Rotary Club of Saskatoon at a ceremony in April 2022.

Resilience in the face of Tragedy

This year, RAP has partnered with the Saskatoon Council on Aging (SCOA) to have students teach seniors how to use technology, in a program called "Seniors Tech Buddy"

The Byer Family ties to Rotary Saskatoon
