February 2025 Update

At the February 10th meeting of the Rotary Club of Saskatoon, a cheque for $4,800 was presented to Kendra Mazer from Hope Restored Saskatoon.

Through their safe house and programs, Hope Restored helps women escape sexual exploitation and trafficking. Hope Restored programs offer a safe environment that helps with their healing, transformation, personal growth, and hope. 

 

Our donation funds a gift card incentive program, which rewards participants for meeting their academic commitments.

Kendra Mazer serves as the Executive Director of Hope Restored Canada, a leading organization dedicated to addressing the diverse recovery needs of women and youth affected by human trafficking and sexual exploitation.  With a career rooted in the non-profit sector, Kendra has consistently championed initiatives that empower individuals to rebuild their lives, fostering resilience and independence through trauma-informed care and community support.  

 

A strong advocate for collaboration, Kendra believes that building meaningful partnerships and cultivating relationships are essential to driving impactful recovery and healing. Her passion for social equity is reflected not only in her professional endeavors but also in her active involvement in the community.  She volunteers on various boards, lending her expertise and voice to create inclusive, equitable opportunities for all.
